Hi there! My name is Deb Gorton
My name is Deb Gorton. I am a mother of four amazing children who, as they grew, made me realise something shocking. I don't want any other mother to experience the sadness of not having enough quality photos of and with my babies when they are newborns or toddlers.
This is my driving force and why I am so passionate about family photography. We all know and hear about a mother’s or father’s love but how often are those emotions captured on camera? So often mums and dads are the ones behind the camera, but I want them to take this opportunity to step out and share in the spotlight with their bub or family. Seeing a parents’ love for their child is one of the great things about my job and forever encasing that on film, so they can relive the moment forever, is even more pleasurable.
I have had a love for photography since 2011 and found my niche as a newborn and baby photographer quickly after this. I understand how important and precious your newborn is. So, I have worked hard to advance my skills through mentorships and by correct techniques for safely handling and posing babies. I also ensure that your baby’s health is well catered for by keeping up to date with my vaccinations including whooping cough.
but , I don't just do baby and family photography. I also love to celebrate your cheeky toddler’s first birthday with them via a cake smash shoot or help you celebrate their unique personalities with a milestone shoot. Each child is unique so I will work in collaboration with you to perfectly style the shoot to capture their growing personality.

How do I join?
Fill out the form to let me know you would like to start your lifetime journey. Then you’re automatically enrolled after your first session. Once you’ve booked with me, if you have had a previous full session with me, you are instantly in.

Deb has done newborn photos for 2 of my bubs now and each time she made sure that I was getting the poses and colours I want, she creates a comfortable environment and is patient with me when fussing over sibling photos.
